About Us

We are a 3 Generation Family Farm located in Evensville, TN. We strive to provide our customers with quality products across the board whether it be beautiful & healthy goats, top of the line beef, protective livestock guardian dogs, or our rich grass hay.

Here at Boofer Farms we are dedicated to years of continued family tradition. In the 1970’s, Robert Wayne Boofer purchased the first of the Boofer Farms properties where he raised Black Angus cattle. His dedication and hard work paved the way for generations to come. We are beyond blessed to raise our children and grandchildren with a love for farming! Teaching them hard work and to respect each and every animal is very important to us and their livelihood as they grow.

Our heart is in our farm and the life we are providing for our family. We hope that anyone can see this in the amount of work and love that we pour into our animals and the care they receive.

Our main goals with our dairy goats are to establish and produce quality milk lines, correct conformation, beautiful coloration, and family friendly animals. Our goats are all ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarfs and are clean & tested yearly for CAE and Johne's.

We also have continued the family cattle tradition and keep around 40 head and continue to grow every day! Black Angus and registered Hereford crosses are our favorite part of farming - which is where we started it all! We sell our cattle for breeding & meat purposes. We are just beginning our Anatolian livestock guardian dog adventure; look for more to come, soon! The importance of livestock guardian dogs (LGD) for your farm is unsurpassed - they will protect at costs. We love our breed and want to share the benefits they offer with our farm friends as we have learned with our goats and cattle, LGD's are priceless!
